Pacific Commerce located at 420 E. 3rd St is now leasing space for mixed-use projects in the historic Little Tokyo neighborhood.
If you are familiar with Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, you'll know it's fast becoming, if not already, one of the hippest communities in Downtown LA. Snuggled between Financial District / South Park, Arts District, and Chinatown, Little Tokyo is the destination for foodies, trendsetters, cosplayers, travelers, and anyone else interested in meeting great people and eating great food.
Little Tokyo is aligned with Downtown’s recent emergence as a place where people go to not only work, but to live, and play in a vibrant 24/7-city atmosphere. Despite the neighborhood’s new wave of multicultural residents, visitors, and investors, Little Tokyo maintains the spirit of small community that’s deeply rooted in Japanese American identity.
Family owned businesses like Fegetsu-Do have been operating here for over a hundred years, as has the historic Koyasan Buddhist Temple, one of the oldest existing Buddhist temples in America, all which serve as a reminder that something truly special lingers here today.
The community was first established in the late 1800's and endured the Great Depression, World War II, and numerous developments so, needless to say, it's here to stay. Of course, how it endures is an entirely a different issue, but with the right synergies between businesses, residents, and workers, Little Tokyo should remain...well, Little Tokyo. That doesn't necessarily mean that every business needs to be a ramen shop or even Japanese owned, but what it does mean is that businesses here need to be mindful of and sensitive to the community's rich history and people living/working here.

At Miren Co., our objective is to be thoughtful in our approach to creating a spectacular place at 420 E. 3rd Street which will carry the spirit of Little Tokyo forward as this community continues to see tremendous growth and opportunity. We have racked our brains, talked with many people, and put some serious hours into researching what will be good for the community as a whole and believe we have the right formula to make this project a success.
